The Green
Ella and Frank Davidson
Frank was born in this house, one of four children born to William and Margaret Davidson, who had farmed in Beadnell since 1936, - Frank and his brother farmed the same land until they retired.
Ella moved to Beadnell from Edinburgh over 30 years ago after marrying Frank and the city girl happily embraced life on the farm.
After their daughters left home they no longer required such a large house and so moved to a smaller house across the road... which Frank built!
The fact that they are only a short stroll away can be handy should you need anything during your stay.

Beechley
Deborah and Adrian Baker
In 1987 Deb and Adrian left the ratrace in London and moved North for a better quality of life. They bought the Seabreeze Shop, Post Office and Fish and Chip Shop and found it was harder work than they'd ever done before!
Their son Alex was born in 1990 and in 1992 they opened a second shop in Seahouses. However they soon realised these business ventures weren't going to make their fortunes and were forced back into the real world in 2000, when Adrian returned to the chemical industry necessitating a move to Yorkshire.

Neither family could bear to part with these houses, which hold such happy memories, and so offer them to you to create some memories of your own.
Enjoy!
